Thank You: A 2020 Reflection

2020. What. A. Year.

Despite the uncertainty and chaos this year has brought, we were still able to help nearly 200 families with their immigration matters this year. We did this through Zoom appointments, document drop-offs at the front door, and from working from home for quite a few days! We’ve done our best to adapt to a year of social distancing while still providing quality customer service and exceptional legal services to our clients.

Every success this year has felt even more special than usual. Maybe it’s because we don’t have a lot to focus on, maybe it’s because we don’t have a lot of control over things, maybe it’s because we’ve been surrounded by a lot of negative news…it’s probably a combination of all of it. I am so thankful that we’ve been able to continue to help people achieve their immigration goals this year!

Thank you to our clients for continuing to move forward with your cases, for trusting us, and for adapting to new ways of doing business with us. Thank you to our community partners who gave us opportunities to donate and give to those in need. Thank you to voters who have given us a new administration and hopes for better days ahead with immigration law and policy. Thank you to everyone who continues to wear a mask and use hand sanitizer on a regular basis to keep us all safe. Thank you to our mailman for his reliability in getting things to us as quickly as he could. And thank you to the Klinke Immigration team who stuck together, who sacrificed, and who found creative ways to get the job done.

Here’s to a better 2021!
