About Paula
Biography
Hello! My name is Paula, and I am a paralegal at Hope Immigration. Originally, I am from MedellĂn, Colombia. In Colombia, I studied Graphic Design and spent four years taking theater classes, nurturing both my creativity and love for expression. What began as a six-month adventure to the United States in 2001 quickly turned into a life-changing journey. I originally came to learn English and explore a new lifestyle far from my home, family, and friends.
Soon after arriving in South Florida, I had the opportunity to work as an assistant for an immigration attorney. That experience sparked my passion for immigration law, and I’ve been working in the field ever since. In 2021, my family and I relocated to Georgia, where I was fortunate to join the Hope Immigration team. From day one, this has felt like the right place to grow and serve.
As a paralegal, I strive to bring compassion, dedication, and professionalism to every case. I’m always ready to learn more, to better support our clients on their journey. As an immigrant myself, I understand how meaningful this process can be. Helping others achieve their dreams in this country is an honor I don’t take for granted.
Outside of work, I’m a wife, mom to two boys, and a cat lover. I feel incredibly grateful to be part of such a passionate, kind, and committed team at Hope Immigration.
