I am Paula Chaves. I was born in Medellín, Colombia- also known as “ The City of the Eternal Spring’- and 20 years ago, I made the decision to come to the United States for a six month experience. I wanted to learn English and live a different lifestyle far away from my family, friends and the place I called home. In Colombia, I studied Graphic Design and took theater classes for four years. Yes, I am a creative person who loves color and coffee by my side all the time. I am a cat lover and a busy wife and mom of two boys. When I came to live in South Florida back in 2001, I was very fortunate to work with an Immigration Attorney who teached me a lot about Immigration. I started as her assistant at her firm and little by little I was learning more about this amazing field, since then I have never stopped working doing Immigration. Two years ago my family and I moved to Georgia, I was very fortunate to find Hope Immigration in my road, since I started my journey here it’s been incredible, always learning, assisting to different conferences and seminars in order to give the best of me as a paralegal, I enjoy 100% what I do and most important I feel blessed helping others, as an immigrant, nothing makes me more happier than seeing others to achieve their goals in this Country.

At Hope Immigration I expect to continue growing professionally, be kind and positive is my goal everyday, helping others is my daily mission, work with love and dedication in each case is very important and I practice it everyday. Life is about making everyday count. I hope this new journey will take me to great things to witness many happy moments and hearts.
